Bible In Schools Programme
The Launchpad Champions is is provided without charge by volunteers from our local community. Volunteers are trained, police vetted and abide by a Code of Expectations.
The Launchpad Champions programme is optional and each year a notice will be sent home to each family asking parents if they would like to opt into the programme.
Every child is welcome, whoever they are and whatever they and their whānau do-or-don't believe.
Each week will be a 30 minute session. While sessions are presented from a Christian perspective, the presentation of information is open, non-judgemental and appropriate for all tamariki in a school environment no matter their belief system.
Using a variety of presentation methods, tamariki are encouraged to consider their values in relation to Christian values and develop a sound ethical framework. Tamariki are also encouraged to develop their critical thinking skills and apply the values presented to their own lives.
A copy of the Launchpad Programme is held in the school office for inspection.
