Facilities

The school is sited on a triangle of land bordered by S.H.73, Greendale Road and Ross Street, and is close to the centre of Darfield Township.

The buildings consist of two permanent brick classroom blocks, three relocatable classrooms, an Office block, a Library building, Dental Clinic, Group Teaching room and a storage garage. A multi-purpose hall which includes three small group teaching spaces is well used by the school for a range of curriculum and recreational purposes.

The school has an ICT network throughout all teaching and administrative areas.

The Darfield Playcentre occupies a place on the school site. Since 1990 the school has seen steady roll growth due to subdivision development in the township and the growth of lifestyle blocks in the surrounding area.

The grounds consist of a large grassed area, a well constructed and maintained adventure playground and a double netball court area.

The school has the use, during Terms One and Four, of an upgraded swimming pool facility which includes a new heated, covered learners pool, a twenty five metre pool and new changing sheds.
